A handprint is deeply personal and as unique as the child who made it. At Hyundai Hope on Wheels, these handprints tell powerful stories of love, hope and recovery in the fight against childhood cancer.
Whether it’s finishing a round of chemo, watching beautiful new hair grow in or receiving a clean bill of health, each milestone is a reason to celebrate.
That’s why the handprint is our symbol. It represents the unique journey of every child, reminding us of the progress we’ve made and the work still to be done.
At our events, we honour these brave children through our signature “Handprint Ceremony.” Children paint their hands and leave their mark on Hyundai vehicles, which then travel across the country, spreading awareness in a burst of colour and hope.
Together, these handprints are a vibrant reminder that every child’s fight is meaningful and that hope is critical to keep the fight against this disease going.
